Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Effective date: August 13, 2026
This policy applies to Generational Ownership Development (“G.O.D.”, “we”, “us”) and to this website. It does not apply to the privacy practices of any insurance carrier you ultimately apply to; each carrier has its own privacy notice, which it will provide to you.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the quote form or the contact form, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that includes your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, date of birth, the type and amount of coverage you are interested in, whether you use tobacco, your preferred time to be contacted, and anything you write in the message field.
We ask for date of birth and tobacco use because both materially affect what coverage costs. We do not ask for your Social Security number, your bank details, or detailed medical history through this website. If you proceed to an application, the carrier will collect that information directly under its own privacy notice.
Information collected automatically
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a privacy-focused analytics tool. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track you across other websites. It records aggregate information such as page views, referrer, general location at country level, and browser and device type.
When you submit a form, our server records your IP address, the date and time, the page you submitted from, and the exact consent text shown to you. We keep this record because it is the evidence that you agreed to be contacted, and we may need it to demonstrate compliance with telephone consumer protection rules.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the quote or information you asked for.
- To contact you about insurance products and services, where you have consented.
- To prepare and submit an application to an insurance carrier, if you ask us to.
- To keep records required by insurance regulators and by consent rules.
- To detect and prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used and how to improve it.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third-party lead buyers, lead aggregators, or marketing networks. Submissions are delivered by email to our own business inbox.
We share information only in these circumstances: with an insurance carrier or its underwriters when you ask us to seek coverage on your behalf; with the service providers listed below, who process data on our instructions; and where we are required to by law, regulation, subpoena, or a regulator with jurisdiction over our license.
Service providers
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery, security, and email delivery for form submissions. Cloudflare processes traffic to this site.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the security check on our forms, used to distinguish people from automated abuse.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate, cookie-free traffic measurement.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not use a third-party advertising pixel. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and to operate the Turnstile check on our forms. Because we do not use tracking cookies, no consent banner is presented.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become applications: retained while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Consent records: retained for at least the period required to demonstrate compliance with applicable telemarketing and consent rules, which may be several years, even if you later opt out.
- Records tied to a submitted application: retained for the period required by insurance record-keeping rules in the applicable state.
[TODO: CONFIRM SPECIFIC RETENTION PERIODS WITH COUNSEL]
Your choices
You can opt out of contact at any time. Reply STOP to any text message, tell the agent you speak with, or email us at tadjek@generationalownership.com. Revocation of consent may be made through any reasonable means, and we will honour it promptly.
Opting out of marketing contact does not delete the consent record itself, because that record is what evidences the state of your preferences over time.
California privacy rights
We accept enquiries from residents of California, so this section applies to you if you are one. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from.
- Request a copy of that information.
- Request deletion of that information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of in that respect.
Some information cannot be deleted on request — in particular consent records and records tied to an insurance application, which we are required to retain. Where that applies we will tell you which exception we are relying on.
How to make a request
Email tadjek@generationalownership.com or call (903) 647-4034. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming details you previously gave us, and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Our forms require you to be 18 or over.
Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Form submissions are protected by a security check and delivered to a business inbox with access limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here.
