Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of this website. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.
Effective date: August 13, 2026
Acceptance of these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the effective date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
This site is information, not advice
Everything on this website is general information about insurance products and financial concepts. It is not financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation that any particular product is suitable for you.
Your situation is specific to you. Nothing here accounts for your income, health, debts, dependants, or goals. Speak with a licensed agent before acting, and speak with a qualified tax professional or attorney about tax and legal questions.
We are an insurance agency
Generational Ownership Development is an insurance agency. We are not a bank, not a licensed investment adviser, not a broker-dealer, not a tax advisor, and not a law firm. We do not provide investment advice or sell securities.
No guarantee of coverage or approval
Requesting a quote is not an application, and submitting an application is not a guarantee of coverage. All coverage is subject to underwriting approval by the issuing insurance carrier. A carrier may decline an application, or approve it at a different premium or rate class than was originally quoted.
Any premium figure discussed before underwriting is an estimate based on the information available at the time. It is not a binding offer.
Carrier contracts govern
If you purchase a policy, the terms of that policy are set entirely by the contract issued by the insurance carrier. Where anything on this website differs from the policy contract, the contract governs.
All guarantees, including guaranteed death benefits and guaranteed cash value, are subject to the claims-paying ability of the issuing carrier. Product availability, features, riders, and rates vary by state and by carrier.
Policy illustrations are hypothetical projections based on assumptions that will not hold exactly. They are not predictions and not guarantees of future results.
Accuracy of what you tell us
You agree that the information you submit through this website is accurate and about yourself, or about someone you are authorised to act for. Inaccurate answers on an insurance application — particularly about health history or tobacco use — can result in a claim being denied or a policy being rescinded during the contestability period.
Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, layout, graphics, the G.O.D. name and emblem, and the arrangement of it all, is owned by Generational Ownership Development or used with permission. You may read it, print it, and share links to it. You may not republish it, sell it, or present it as your own.
Third-party links
We link to external resources, including government consumer protection sites, because we think they are useful. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
Availability
We aim to keep this website available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at every moment. The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Generational Ownership Development is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website or reliance on its general information.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here limits the rights you have under the policy contract issued by a carrier, or your rights under applicable insurance law.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [TODO: GOVERNING STATE], without regard to its conflict of law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in the state where you live.
